Gladys Watts Buddin, 90, beloved sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, died Monday, March 12, 2018, peacefully at her home in Turbeville.
Born May 20, 1927, in rural Clarendon County, she was one of 14 children of Edmond B.Watts and Annie Bell Robison Watts. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Turbeville, the Dicey Gibbons’ Circle, the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post No. 132 and was the former director of the WMU at her home church. She retired from Turbeville Sportswear after 16 years of employment.

Bobby Julius Pack, 79, died Sun. March 11, 2018, at the Lake Marion Nursing Facility.
He was born in Sumter on March 11, 1939. He was a son of the late Julius Carl Pack and the late Reba Cornelia Hodge Pack. He was a retired floral designer for Flowers de Linda in Manning and he was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church in Sumter.
He is survived by his brother, Ronnie Carl Pack (Judy) of Williamston; two sisters, Susie Evelyn Griffith of Cheraw and Reba Diane Johnson of Pinewood; and several nieces and nephews.

Janet McLeod Touchberry Trembley, 94, widow of J.T. Touchberry, Jr. and Thomas V. Trembley, died Fri. March 9, 2018 at the National Health Care of Sumter.
She was born Sept. 10, 1923 in Pinewood. She was a daughter of the late James Wilson McLeod and the late Mary Dawkins McLeod. She retired from Clarendon Memorial Hospital after 40 years of service as a nurse’s aide. She was a member of Summerton Baptist Church.

Bernice “Bunny” Richman Daitch, 90, entered into eternal rest in Atlanta, GA on Tues. March 6, 2018.
Bunny was the daughter of Sam and Anna Richman of Manning, SC. She was the sister of Elinore Richman Aronovitz, the late George Richman and the late Bobby Richman. She was the wife of the late Irvin J. Daitch.

Alyce Coker Player, 70, of Lexington, wife of James E. Player, also known as Jimmie, passed away Feb. 26 after a courageous battle with cancer. Mrs. Player was born in Turbeville, SC on Aug. 16, 1947. She was the youngest daughter of Cleo and Natalie Purvis Coker. Mrs. Player attended the East Clarendon Schools. She also attended the Baptist College of Charleston which is Charleston Southern University.
