Anna Jean Lang Holmes

Anna Jean Lang Holmes, 49, wife of Frederick Corbin “Rick” Holmes Sr., died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018, at her home.
Born March 5, 1968, in Wilmington, North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late James Burton Lang and Marianne Redwine Hanson. She was an incredible artist and a strong, loving wife and mother.
Survivors besides her husband of Manning include two sons, Frederick C. Holmes Jr. of Manning and James William Holmes (Nicole) of Ellicott City, Maryland; two daughters, Erica Jean Holmes and Rebecca Faye Holmes, both of Manning; two sisters, Elizabeth Lang Dzurko (Craig) of Lititz, Pennsylvania, and Sarah Hanson of Charlotte, North Carolina; and two grandchildren, Eisley Jean Holmes and Elliot Corbin Cartzendafner.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 7, 2018, at the home, 1190 Limerick Lane in Manning.
Stephens Funeral Home and Crematory, 304 N. Church St. in Manning, is in charge of arrangements, (803) 435-2179.
