SUMTER - Donald Hodge, 62, husband of Angela "Angie" Hodge, died Monday, June 23, 2014, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center in Sumter

Born June 6, 1952, in Charleston, Donnie was a son of Henry B. and Sena Hodge and the late Bobby Jean Bowen Hodge. He worked at GRR, and also served in the U.S. Navy. He loved spending time with his family and going fishing in hiss spare time. He attended Pinegrove Baptist Church in Sumter.

Survivors besides his wife of Sumter and his father and stepmother of Walterboro include three daughters, Amanda (Loren) Hodge of Virginia and Amber (Jeremy) Davis and Kelsey (Louis) Hodge, both of Sumter; three grandchildren, Hanna and Kinsley Geddings and Nolyn Poplin; a brother, Henry B. (Gwen) Hodge Jr. of Sumter; four sisters, Ruth Barwick and Annie (Horace) Judy, both of Sumter, Cindy (Carl) Windham of Lamar and Pat Taylor of North Carolina; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Darrell McCoy of Sumter; two stepbrothers, Larry Hill and Richard Glenn Hill, both of Sumter; a stepsister, Brenda Lyles of Oklahoma; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Donald Hodge was held Thursday, June 26, 2014, at Pinegrove Baptist Church, with the Rev. Don Riner officiating.

The family received friends Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home, and other times at the home.
