Ruby Ridgill Jacobs

DARLINGTON – Ruby Ridgill Jacobs, 91, widow of James Jacobs, died Monday, April 28, 2014, at Bethea Baptist Retirement Center in Darlington.
Born Oct. 27, 1922, in High Point, N.C., she was the oldest daughter of the late James Lee Ridgill Sr. and Ruth Ward Ridgill. She was a member of Manning First Baptist Church.
Survivors include twin sisters, Doris Ridgill Tatum (Dr. Ben Tatum) of Laurinburg, N.C. and Dora Ridgill Kinsey (Dr. Frank Kinsey) of Kiawah Island; and 56 nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Saturday at Stephens Funeral Home in Manning.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethea Baptist Retirement Center, 157 Home Avenue, P.O. Box 1000, Darlington, SC 29532.
