Shortly after 3:00 PM, deputies with the Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office responded to Homer Drive in the Summerton area of Clarendon County. Upon arrival, deputies found a deceased male identified as 71-year old Henry Everett Allen from the Manning area of Clarendon County. It appeared Allen had a gunshot wound to the head. An autopsy will be performed on Thursday. One person was detained at the scene. This investigation is ongoing. More information will be released at its conclusion.
