Posted

The statement reads as follows:

I was recently presented with a job opportunity to return to the private practice of law, which would allow me to utilize my knowledge and experience to represent private and governmental clients. After discussing this opportunity with my family, we realized that it was an extraordinary opportunity that would be in our best interest to pursue. Therefore, I have accepted this opportunity and will be leaving my position as Clarendon County Administrator and Clarendon County Attorney as of Sunday, December 31, 2023.

I have had the honor and privilege of working for Clarendon County since 2006 when I joined the staff as the County Attorney and then later as the County Administrator and County Attorney. I would like to thank Clarendon County Council, Clarendon County Elected and Appointed Officials, Clarendon County Staff, and all other individuals that I have had the opportunity to work with during this time for all their support. Together, we have accomplished so many things that have progressed this great County forward into a new era.

Thank you.
