All SCISA lacrosse player selections made at end-of-season meeting

On May 9, the SCISA coaches held their end of season meeting, with one of their topics selecting this year’s All SCISA player selections for 1st, 2nd and 3rd team.

LMA had 5 Players selected to this year’s teams.

2nd Team

Attackman - Jordan Ives

Long Stick Middie -  Mason Hodge

Face Off specialist - Jackson Timmons

3rd Team

Attackman -  Hunter Stanfield

Midfielder - Camdyn Stickler

SCISA Coach of the Year - Mike Davey LMA

Players accomplishments/contributions that led to their selection are included below.

2nd Team:

Attackman; Jordan Ives - Jordan had 31 goals (6th leading scorer in SCISA) along with 14 assists and was the leading scorer in the LMA offense. He led LMA scoring in multiple games during the season and was instrumental in the teams winning season. He also had 27 ground ball recoveries.  Long Stick Middie; Mason Hodge - Mason had 51 ground ball recoveries, 10 takeaways at the LSM position.  Mason’s expertise focused on face off play, defensive clearing and midfield defense.  He also had a critical role on LMA’s man down defensive special team and additionally, in a number of contests played close in defense. Face Off player; Jackson Timmons - Jackson won 110 of 177 Face Off Attempts with a winning percentage of .621%.  He was number 18 of 65 in South Carolina boys lacrosse private or public at his Face Off position.  Jackson also had 89 ground ball recoveries, placing 23 out of the top 100 players in the state.

3rd Team:

Midfielder: Camdyn Stickler - Camdyn compiled 19 Goals and 9 Assists at the midfield position. He also played short stick middie on the LMA Man Down defensive team.  His play was critical on defensive clearing and transitioning to LMA’s offensive play.  He also had 37 ground ball recoveries during the season.

Attackman: Hunter Stanfield -  Hunter contributed 19 goals and 7 assists to LMA’s offensive output this season.  He was one of the top freshman scorers in SCISA this year.  He also collected  37 ground ball recoveries during the season.
