We regrettably have made the decision to cancel the Aviation Celebration scheduled to be held at the Santee-Cooper Regional Airport this Saturday, September 23, 2023 due to the increasing potential for inclement weather from a sub-tropical system expected to form off of the East Coast. This was not an easy decision but because this celebration was to include several planes flying in and lots of preparation and hard work involved with getting the event set up, we feel it is in the best interest of all that we don’t take the chance of being caught in heavy rains and gusty winds. We are thankful to those of you who graciously agreed to participate in this celebration and hope you will take a “rain check” and join us as we re-schedule our celebration in the spring of 2024!
