Two Pitchers Work Together As LMA JV Shuts Out Trinity Burns Academy

LMA JV Baseball defeated Trinity Burns Academy 11-0 on Wednesday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Jackson Clemmons induced a fly out from Cameron Jordan to finish off the game. Austin Geddings led the Swampcats to victory by driving in six runs. He went 2-for-4 at the plate. Geddings drove in runs on a triple in the third, a double in the fourth, and a groundout in the fifth. LMA put up five runs in the fourth inning. Cam Branham, Geddings, Mickey Jordan, and Jackson Brown all drove in runs in the frame. A single by Cam Rhuerk in the second inning was a positive for Trinity Burns Academy. Bryce Acord was on the mound for LMA. He lasted four innings, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out two and walking one. Boogie Knotts was on the pitcher's mound for Trinity Burns Academy. He allowed three hits and three runs over three innings, striking out one. Rhuerk and Pierce Evans entered the game as relief, throwing one and two-thirds innings and one-third of an inning respectively. The LMA Swampcats saw the ball well today, racking up eight hits in the game. Jordan, Brown, and Geddings each had multiple hits for LMA . Geddings, Brown, and Jordan all had two hits to lead LMA. Rhuerk went 1-for-2 at the plate to lead Trinity Burns Academy in hits. Trinity Burns Academy didn't commit a single error in the field. Rhuerk had the most chances in the field with four.
