The following businesses, schools and other organizations will be closed at various points throughout the week due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
GOVERNMENT
All local government offices, including the City of Manning, the towns of Turbeville and Summerton and Clarendon County, will be closed Thursday and Friday. The Post Office will be closed Thursday. Mail will not run that day.
SCHOOLS
Clarendon School Districts 1 and 2 will be closed all week. Clarendon School District 3 will hold a teacher workday Monday and close beginning Tuesday. Students are off Monday. Laurence Manning Academy and Clarendon Hall will be closed Wednesday through Friday. Central Carolina Technical College will hold a faculty-student holiday Wednesday, with school closed Thursday and Friday.
BUSINESSES
All local banks will be closed Thursday.
The Manning Times will be closed Thursday and Friday. Thursday's paper will publish Wednesday.
ORGANIZATIONS
The Harvin Clarendon County Library will be closed Thursday through Sunday.
The Clarendon County Clemson Extension Office will be closed Thursday and Friday.
