A white, 2013 Cynergy 14-foot enclosed trailer was allegedly stolen from a home in the 2200 block of American Avenue in Turbeville between 12 and 8 a.m. Oct. 5, according to reports from the Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies reportedly saw tire tracks present entering the shop driveway and going around the far side of the building, away from the house. Two separate and distinct shoe impressions were also found around the area of the trailer and leading near the back of the shop. The trailer was valued at about $4,800.

I am so glad we’ve been alerted to this theft ONE MONTH AFTER IT OCCURED. Finally we can be on the lookout for it. As for the Editors Note, just because you receive a blotter item, especially one that is a month old, doesn’t mean it’s newsworthy. Do you print every single blotter report? I don’t think so. Someone decided this old news was relevant. How so?
