The National Weather Service out of Columbia has issued a special weather statement for south central Clarendon County, calling for a strong thunderstorm to hit the area.At 4:51 p.m., a strong thunderstorm was located near eastern Lake Marion, or 17 miles northwest of Moncks Corner, moving west at 10 mph. Winds near 40 mph and pea-size hail are possible with this storm. Locations impacted include Summerton, Holly Hill, Eutawville and Vance.
