The National Weather Service out of Columbia is calling for a strong thunderstorm to affect the west central Clarendon County area. At 5:24 p.m., a strong thunderstorm was located near south Sumter, moving east at 10 mph. Wind gusts were up to 50 mph and half-inch hail was present. Locations impacted could include Paxville and Manning.
