Woman tells police suspect grabbed, choked her

A 24-year-old woman living at a home in the 200 block of Dillon Street in Manning told the Manning Police Department about 7:21 a.m. May 29 that a 32-year-old woman was throwing things in the house, breaking the TV and then attacked her, grabbing her around the neck. The alleged victim told police that she hit the woman in self-defense. The alleged suspect told police she attempted to leave in her vehicle, and that the victim then hit her in the eye. The victim told police she hit the woman in self defense while she was allegedly being choked. Police noted a minor injury to the alleged suspect's left eye. At the scene police noted that the alleged suspect's license and license plate were both suspended, and they notified her that she could not drive away in the vehicle.
