SUMMERTON - Joe Lewis Lawson, 56, of 1300 Mack Drive in Summerton, died Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at his home.
Born July 17, 1960, in Summerton, he was a son of the late Joe Lewis Lawson Sr. and Robertha Thames Lawson.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Monday, April 24, 2017, at Santee AME Church, 1045 Dingle Pond Road in Summerton, with the Rev. Harvey Sutton, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the home of his sister and brother-in-law, Joe Ann and Julious Davis, 1315 Hamilton Road in Ram Bay.
Services have been entrusted to Samuels Funeral Home LLC of Manning.
