Summerton Early Childhood Center held its first St. Patrick's Day "Sock Hop" on March 17. The students were given a lesson on the history of St. Patrick's Day. Faculty, staff and students wore green, as well as "sock hop" attire.
Report card pickup/parent visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday. A light dinner will be served for those who attend.Awards Day will be held Friday, with kindergarten at 12:30 p.m. and first and second grades at 1:30 p.m.
