The National Weather Service out of Columbia has issued both a Thunderstorm Watch and a Lake Wind Advisory for Clarendon County through 4 p.m. Wednesday. At 9:14 a.m., a strong thunderstorm was located about eight miles west of St. Matthews, moving east at 40 mph. Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with the storm.
