The Manning High School golf team faced C.E. Murray and Johnsonville high schools on Monday afternoon at Swamp Fox Golf Course in Greeleyville. The Monarchs came in second, with a team score of 180, to Johnsonville's first-place score of 174. C.E. Murray finished third with 231.
Contributors to the team score for the Monarchs included McArthur Bennett (40); Jacob Richburg (42); Hunter White (46) and Robert Dykes (52).
The Monarchs will host Hannah-Pamplico Tuesday at Wyboo Golf Course.
