Guilty Pleas: Feb. 1-5

The following pleas were taken in Clarendon County General Sessions court from Feb. 1-5 before Circuit Court Judge Howard P. King. Albert George Anderson of 3700 Cates Bay Highway in Conway pleaded guilty Feb. 1 to shoplifting-enhanced, receiving three years in prison. Santana Ali Baskervill of 707 Richard Ave. in Baltimore, Maryland, pleaded guilty Feb. 1 to possession of 1 gram or less of marijuana or 10 grams or less of hash, second or subsequent offense, receiving a year in prison or the payment of a $250 fine. Shellito Jermaine Conyers of 9783 Lewis Road in Manning pleaded guilty Feb. 1 to resisting arrest, receiving 60 days in jail. Cleoza Gibbs Jr. of 1384 Tuttle Lane in Manning pleaded guilty Feb. 1 to being habitual traffic offender, receiving five years in prison, suspended to 90 days in jail and three years' probation. Selvon Ulric King Jr. of 1136 Detwiler St. in Summerton pleaded guilty Feb. 4 to two counts of second-degree burglary, receiving four years in prison, concurrent with unspecified federal charges. He also pleaded guilty to petit or simple larceny of an amount equalling $2,000 or less and malicious injury to animals or personal property, with injuries at $2,000 or less, receiving 30 days concurrent on both offenses. Sharon Denise Lee of 1315 Arlen Road in Manning pleaded guilty Feb. 4 to financial identity fraud, receiving six years in prison, suspended to time-served and five years' probation. Kevin Bernard Mckinney of 1162 Mckinney Road in Manning pleaded guilty Feb. 4 to forgery of a value less than $10,000, receiving five years in prison, suspended to one year in prison and two years' probation. He received the same sentence after also pleading guilty to grand larceny of a value more than $2,000, but less than $10,0000. Dezmond A. Mitchell of 3458 Bomar Trail in Pinewood pleaded guilty Feb. 4 to second-degree domestic violence, receiving three years in prison, suspended to 90 days in jail and two years' probation. Robert Edward Ridgeway of 7537 Paxville Highway in Manning pleaded guilty Feb. 4 to manufacture of marijuana, first offense, receiving two years in prison, suspended to 18 months' probation. Rosanna Wells of 5459 Burnt Branch Road in New Zion pleaded guilty Feb. 4 to second-degree domestic violence, receiving three years in prison, suspended to 18 months' probation.
