C.E. Murray running back signs with Limestone

Isiah Odom signed with Limestone College while his mother, Felicia Bradshaw, looks on. He plans to pursue a degree in business management from the Gaffney school.

“It’s not too big of a campus, but its not too small,” Odom said. “Also it’s not too far away from home. They have really cool coaches and great players.”

Odom had a breakout senior season at running back where he accumulated 1,563 rushing yards and found pay dirt 21 times. He realizes he still has room to improve.

“I’m a hard runner, so I just need to work on my speed,” he said. “Once I get my speed up I should be the (running) back they want.”

Odom also lined up at linebacker for a few snaps this year, where he had an important interception to help the War Eagles win the 2015 1-A Lower State Championship.
