Wanda Evelyn Hardee Floyd, 59, wife of John Michael “Mike” Floyd, died Monday, Dec. 7, 2015, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.

Born Oct 24, 1956, in Hialeah, Florida, she was a daughter of the late Elliott Ward Hardee Sr. and Myrtle Elizabeth Bradshaw Hardee. She was a member of Little Star Pentecostal Holiness Church.

She is survived by her husband of Manning; a son, Harry Matthew Haselden of California; two daughters, Lynn Banda-Cruz (Pedro) of Dalzell and Connie Michelle Clark (Kenny) of Sumter; three brothers, L.D. Hardee (Carolyn) of Sumter, Phillip Edward Hardee of Manning and Elliott Ward Hardee, Jr. (Valarie) of Columbia; four sisters, Helen Lorraine Hardee of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, Rhonda Mitchell (Jerry) of Foley, Alabama, Florence Atkinson (Mitch) of Bishopville and Cindy Hemingway (Henley) of Manning; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015, in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home, with the Rev. Morris Smith officiating.

The family will receive friends an hour prior to the services at the funeral home, and other times at the home, 1018 Archer Ave. in Manning.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Kidney Center, National Kidney Center, 20081 Whistling Straits Place, Ashburn, VA 20147.
