James F. Hampton, husband of Odessa Budden Hampton, died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015, at his home.
Born July 15, 1948, in Pinewood, he was a son of the late Rev. Powell Hampton Sr. and Rosa Odell Green Hampton.
The family is receiving relatives and friends at the home, 2910 Ervin Lane in Sumter.
Funeral plans will be announced by Community Funeral Home of Sumter.
