HARDEEVILLE – Blondell McDonald Fargas, widow of the late Manuel Fargas, died Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015, at Coastal Carolina Hospital in Hardeeville.

Born Dec. 16, 1934 in Manning, she was a daughter of the late Charlie D. McDonald and Mary Brown Miller McDonald.

Survivors include a son son, Kenneth (JoAnne) McDonald; a grandson, Kenneth McDonald Jr.; a granddaughter, Mary McDonald; a great-granddaughter, Jamaria (Tootsie) McDonald-Ross; a brother, Charles (Loretta) McDonald; two sisters, Vera Wineglass and Alma B. Mack; five nephews; and 10 nieces.

A service of remembrance will be held noon Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015, at Historic Liberty Hill AME Church, 2310 Liberty Hill Road in Summerton, with the Rev. Robert L. China, pastor, bringing words of consolation.

Interment will follow in the McDonald Family Cemetery.

A public viewing will be held 5-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, 2015, at Fleming and DeLaine Funeral Home and Chapel in Manning.

The family will begin receiving relatives and friends from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, 2015, at the home, 2773 Governor Richardson Road in Summerton.
