Volunteers needed to cook meals at Camp Bob Cooper for flood survivors

Posted
Now that flood victims stranded at Scott's Branch High School have been moved to Camp Bob Cooper, authorities are looking for volunteers who can help provide meals for the following two weeks. The survivors will remain at the camp until other arrangements can be made to place them in permanent housing. To help, please call George Fogach at (803) 445-4250. George is in charge of the kitchen at Camp Bob Cooper. If you are interested in donating supplies, call Janene Surette at (803) 518-1407. All supplies need to be taken to the Clarendon School District 1 Resource Center on Fourth Street in Summerton. The center is in need of towels, hand sanitizer, body wash and pre-packaged snacks and breakfast items.
