Ravenell Dingle, husband of Edith Carter Dingle, died Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015, at Windsor Manor Nursing Facility in Silver.
Born on Jan. 8, 1939, in Manning, he was a son of the late William and Victoria Ballard Dingle.
Survivors besides his loving wife include a son, Colvin Dingle; a daughter, Cinda (Anthony) Fulwood; a grandson, Jaylon Fulwood; granddaughter, Jayla Fulwood; two brothers, the Rev. O'Donald Dingle and Johnnie (Mamie) Dingle; and several nieces, nephews and other family members.
A service of remembrance for Ravenell Dingle will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015, at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Jordan. The eulogy will be delivered by the pastor, the Rev. Sam Livingston Sr. The service of committal, benediction and interment will follow in the Dingle plot located in Antioch Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015, in the chapel of Fleming and DeLaine Funeral Home.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the home, 1502 Joseph Lemon Dingle Road in Jordan.
