January is National Blood Donor Month, which has been celebrated annually since 1970. Clarendon County will have three donation sites this month: 9:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at Laurence Manning Academy on Old Georgetown Road; 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Clarendon Hall in Summerton; and 8:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Tuesday at East Clarendon High School in Turbeville. Donors of all types are needed, particularly those with O, A and B negative.
