LEXINGTON - Mary Eleanor Harrington Coffey, 86, widow of Edgar Stuart Coffey, died Tuesday, December 30, 2014, Lexington Extended Care.
Born July 7, 1928, in Manning, she was the daughter of the late Hervey Burton Harrington and the late Hattie Crick Harrington. She was a member of the Red Hatters and a member and spirited singer at Union United Methodist Church of Irmo.
She is survived by two sons, Thomas M. "Tom" Coffey (Kathryn) of Atlanta, GA and Richard Alan Coffey of Lexington; a brother, "Polly" Harrington of Woodruff; three grandchildren; and two great grandsons.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Edgar Stuart Coffey, Jr.
Services will be private.
