Pilot Club thanks supporters

The Clarendon Pilot Club would like to thank you for the contribution you gave to the Clarendon Walk for Brain Health. Your generosity enabled us to provide a tremendous outreach to many organizations in our community, which included Camp Burnt Gin; the Clarendon Christian Learning Center; the Clarendon Council on Aging; Clarendon County United Ministries; the Clarendon Rotary Club CART program for Alzheimer’s Research; the Laurence Manning Academy Anchor Club; the Second Wind Dreams Dementia Training Program; and the Wounded Warrior Project. In addition, we will be purchasing children’s bike helmets, hosting birthday parties for foster children and also assisting a family in need at Christmas. As you can see, the Clarendon Walk was most definitely a success, thanks to you! As you know, the mission of the Clarendon Pilot Club is to promote brain health. Our club hosts annual puppet shows to promote brain safety in local county schools. We participate in Kids’ Day at Manning High School by sharing brain health awareness and giving out bike helmets. And we provide college scholarships to five high school seniors who have chosen the medical field. Again, thank you for your support and we look for4ward to your continued support in upcoming walks. Sincerely, DONNA THAMES, President MARGARET ROBERTSON, Walk Chairwoman Manning
