Manning man pleads guilty to stabbing another

A Manning man who stabbed another man during a September fight in Pinewood pleaded guilty Tuesday to second degree assault and battery and was sentenced to 1 year in prison. Randolph Leron Lemon, 30, punched and then stabbed a man Sept. 8 on Bethune Road and was struck in the head with a non-functioning pistol, Assistant Solicitor Warren Anderson told Circuit Court Judge Ferrell Cothran. Public Defender Scott Robinson also nosted Lemon violated his probation. Cothran ordered a civil judgment to recover restitution and revoked his probation.
