Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Patrick Oliver Sr. of Summerton announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Marie Oliver to Adam Lee Bedard, son of Mrs. Aline Bedard of Greensboro, N.C., and the late Randy Lee Bedard.
The bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. George William Coulliette of Pinewood, and the late Rose Marie Oliver Daugherty and H.F. “Red” Oliver. She received a bachelor of science degree in biology from Francis Marion University, and is employed as a high school science teacher at Clarendon Hall.
The groom is the grandson of John Paul Bedard of Vermont and the late Leona Marie Bedard, Roland Leopold Viens and Rita Janet Viens. He received a bachelor of arts in wildlife biology from the University of Maine, and is employed as a wildlife educator at the S.C. Waterfowl Association.
The couple’s wedding is planned for Nov. 8, 2014, at Andrews Chapel United Methodist Church in Pinewood.
