A 45-year-old woman charged with two counts of felony DUI early Sunday morning after a wreck late Saturday night that killed a 34-year-old Manning man has posted the $30,000 surety bond on her most serious charges.
Tammy Dianne Brown of 2929 Winters Hill Lane in Manning was initially taken to Clarendon Memorial Hospital for minor injuries early Sunday morning. She was transported to the Clarendon County Detention Center and charged with one count each of felony DUI resulting in death and felony DUI resulting in grievous bodily injury.
Maurelio DeLeon died at the scene of the wreck, according to Clarendon County Coroner Hayes Samuels. A passenger in DeLeon's 1994 Dodge Dakota was airlifted to McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence with serious injuries. Manninglive.com is awaiting an update on his condition.
