Clarendon County Coroner Hayes Samuels has confirmed an 8-year-old girl as the one fatality in a wreck that happened earlier today at the 112 mile-marker in the northbound lanes of Interstate 95. The 20-year-old driver in the one-vehicle wreck and a 4-year-old male passenger are in critical condition.
The S.C. Highway Patrol reported 20-year-old woman was driving a 1999 Ford F-250 pickup truck and that she left the roadway and hit a tree.
