Summerton Rotary Club Hosts 1st Inaugural Clarendon County Educators Appreciation Program

Summerton, SC – July 29, 2024 – The Summerton Rotary Club, in partnership with several community partners, is proud to announce the Inaugural Clarendon County Educators Appreciation Program, set to take place on Friday, August 2, 2024, at 9:30 am at Manning High School in the gymnasium. This significant event will bring together educators from across Clarendon County to celebrate and honor their invaluable contributions to the community. Our guest speaker will be Mrs. Braden Wilson, the 2025 South Carolina Teacher of the Year. Lunch will be provided for all educators immediately following the program and a token of appreciation will be provided for all educators in our county. 

Event Objectives:

  • Express Gratitude: This event aims to recognize and show heartfelt appreciation for the dedicated educators who play a vital role in shaping the future of our community.
  • Boost Morale: By celebrating the hard work and dedication of educators, the event seeks to elevate their morale and motivation, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
  • Strengthen Community: The program will foster a stronger sense of community among educators, students, parents, and other stakeholders, emphasizing the collaborative effort needed to achieve educational excellence.
  • Raise Awareness: Highlighting the importance of education and the critical role educators play in society, this event will raise awareness and inspire greater support for the educational community.

Targeted Audience: The event welcomes all employees from the following institutions:

  • Clarendon County School District
  • Clarendon Hall
  • Harvest Community School
  • Laurence Manning Academy
  • St. Matthias Church Montessori School

Theme: “Clarendon Celebrating the Heart of Education”

Join us in celebrating the heart of education and showing our educators just how much they mean to our community. The program promises to be a memorable occasion filled with gratitude, inspiration, and community spirit.
