Woman tells police man chased her with knife, threatened to cut her

A 26-year-old woman living in the 200 block of Kensington Circle in Manning told the Manning Police Department about 9:52 a.m. April 8 that a 26-year-old man was chasing her and another male around the home with a knife. The alleged suspect told police that he had a knife for his own protection after he and the woman had a fight earlier that morning. The woman said that the man grabbed her and pulled her out of the bedroom during the argument, and when she tried to go back, he then chased her with the knife, and told her he would cut her. Ultimately, the woman told police she didn't want to press charges, and they waited as she gathered her things to leave the home.
