Woman: Man kicked in door, choked her during argument

A 25-year-old woman living in the 300 block of East South Street in Manning told police about 7:26 a.m. April 10 that a 22-year-old Alcolu man kicked her door, causing about $100 in damages to the frame, and also choked her during an argument about 7 a.m. that day. The woman said the man wanted to come in her home, and she told him he could not enter, and that he then became angry. Police reportedly observed damage to the door frame and marks on the victim's neck.
