SUMMERTON — Vivian House Robinson, 90, died Monday, June 30, 2014, at her home.

Born April 11, 1924, in Clarendon County, she was a daughter of the late John and Elease Dingle House.

Mrs. Robinson was preceded in deathd by a grandson, Charles Benbow Dukes; three sisters, Fannie Robinson, Minnie Anderson and Julia Vanmeter; and two brothers, Walter House and Jerome House.

Survivors include two daughters, Bernice H. Clark and Peggie (Leon) Burgess, both of Summerton; two granddaughters, Sonja D. Jackson of Atlanta and Mia (Levone) Jackson-Wright of Summerton; four grandchildren, Bailey Jackson, Kennedy Patrick, Nyah Wright and Joseph Alexandra Wright; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Vivian House Robinson were held Saturday, July 5, 2014, at Laurel Hill AME Church. The Rev. Albert Bradly, pastor, served as the eulogist. Burial followed in Hopkins Cemetery.
