UPDATE: Two in custody after fatal shooting in Alcolu

A man was found dead Thursday following a reported shooting in the Alcolu area of Clarendon County, according to the Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded Feb. 5 to the 1300 block of Pinecrest Acres in reference to a shooting incident. Upon arrival, deputies located a white Jeep Cherokee with a male subject deceased in the front passenger compartment with a gunshot wound, the sheriff’s office said in a press release.

Authorities identified the victim as Randy Wing, 39, of Alcolu.

The sheriff’s office said Terence Wilson, 41, and Tammy Eghafona, 31, have been taken into custody and are being held at the Clarendon County Detention Center in connection with the incident. No charges had been released as of press time.

Officials said the investigation remains ongoing.
