Surveillance video released for Ram Bay robbery

The Clarendon County Sheriff's Office is looking for the man in this video surveillance still. The suspect is accused of the strong arm robbery of the Moore Food Store in Ram Bay about 11:10 p.m. Tuesday.The 36-year-old female store clerk the suspect handed her a $5 bill for a pack of Seneca 100s, and when the opened the cash drawer to complete the transaction, he reached over the counter and snatched an undetermined amount of money and ran out the store. A regular customer told deputies the getaway vehicle was a green four-door Oldsmobile with a license plate ending in 22. The man was wearing a blue shirt with khaki shorts and a dark-colored hat, the clerk told deputies. If you have any information, please call the Sheriff’s Office at (803) 435-4414.
