On Saturday, July 15, the Town of Summerton, along with the Summerton Police Department and Chief of Summerton Police Depart Donnell Dixon, hosted a Back to School Bash. The bash was held from 11:00 a.m. until 3 p.m. at 1154 4th Street.
Reverend Rodney Conyers, Senior Pastor of White Oak Missionary Baptist Church, Annett Smith and Chief Dixon were among several speakers. The event had free food, door prizes and school supplies for the citizens of Summerton.
