Sheriff Randy L. Garrett is reminding residents that if their parties get too hard on New Year's Eve or early New Year's Day, the Clarendon County Sheriff's Office is there to help.
"During your celebration and parties, my staff and I want to remind you all that if someone parties too hard, you can call on your sheriff's office to get you home safetly," Garrett said.
The number to call is (803) 435-8477. No questions will be asked.
"A deputy will be dispatched to your location and get you home," he said. "This is our way of keeping some family from having their hearts broken. Happy New Year and God bless you all."
