On April 1st , Lorenzo Ragin filed as a Republican for candidacy in the election for the
House of Representatives, District 64. The incumbent is Fawn Pedalino and the primary
will be held on June 11 th .
On April 5th , Ragin informed Moye Graham, Chairman of the Clarendon County
Republican Party, of his intent to withdraw from the primary. Graham received
confirmation from the South Carolina GOP that Ragin will not appear on the party ballot
and the South Carolina Election Commission has been notified.
Ragin declined to give any further comment.
