A Manning woman faces 14 charges in an ongoing, multi-county insurance fraud investigation that has resulted in the arrests of five South Carolina women, according to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division.

Jeanette Nicole Weaver, 40, of Manning, was charged Oct. 14 with 14 counts of fraudulent insurance application by an agent following an investigation requested by the South Carolina Department of Insurance.

According to arrest warrants, Weaver, an insurance producer, allegedly submitted fraudulent applications for Aflac insurance coverage using other individuals' identifying information, including Social Security numbers and account credentials.

Investigators allege the applications contained false information and were submitted to obtain insurance coverage or compensation for which the applicants were not eligible.

The alleged offenses occurred in Clarendon County between October 2024 and June 2025. Several warrants describe applications submitted using another person's username and password, while others allege Weaver submitted false information about applicants' eligibility for coverage.

Four additional women from Florence, Sumter, Columbia and Lake City were charged in connection with the broader investigation. Their charges involve allegations of fraudulent short-term disability insurance claims and forged documents.

Kristina Jeanetta Quanisha Benjamin, 31, of Sumter, faces 10 charges, including four counts of presenting false insurance claims valued at $10,000 or more, five counts of forgery involving less than $10,000 and one count of presenting a false insurance claim valued between $2,000 and $10,000.

According to warrants, Benjamin allegedly submitted multiple fraudulent disability claims between September 2024 and July 2025, including claims supported by falsified physician statements.

One warrant alleges Benjamin submitted a claim involving another individual's disability insurance policy. Another alleges she attempted to obtain approximately $2,500 through a claim involving a settlement with an insurance company.

Shaquilla Raford Singletary, 34, of Florence, was charged with forgery involving less than $10,000 and presenting a false insurance claim valued between $2,000 and $10,000.

Investigators allege Singletary submitted a fraudulent short-term disability insurance claim in December 2024, supported by a falsified physician statement, in an attempt to obtain approximately $9,900 in benefits.

Shaquarius Rashada Canty, 34, of Columbia, was charged with presenting a false insurance claim valued at $10,000 or more and forgery involving less than $10,000.

According to warrants, Canty allegedly submitted a fraudulent disability claim in June 2025 using a falsified physician statement in an attempt to obtain more than $10,000 in benefits.

Quadasia Monet Robinson, 27, of Lake City, faces two counts of presenting false insurance claims valued between $2,000 and $10,000.

Warrants allege Robinson submitted fraudulent disability claims in May and June 2025, receiving approximately $3,500 from one claim and attempting to obtain approximately $2,500 through another.

The warrants cite electronic records, witness statements and insurance documentation as evidence supporting the charges.

All five women were booked into the Clarendon County Detention Center. SLED described the multi-county investigation as ongoing but did not announce whether additional arrests or charges are expected.

The South Carolina Department of Insurance will prosecute the cases.
