Louise McFadden Billie, 64, wife of Isaac Billie died Wednesday morning, May 27, 2015, at her home.
Born Oct. 31, 1950, in Clarendon County, she was a daughter of the late Abolon and Catherine Evans McFadden. She attended Eastern High School in Sumter County. In 1981, Louise heard the word of God and started a new life at the Church of Christ, where she attended until her health failed.
Louise McFadden Billie was a devoted wife and a loving mother to her four children. She was a very kind, loving person who loved her family dearly. Her presence and loving spirit will be missed by many family members, neighbors and friends.
Survivors besides her husband include a son, Rodney Billie of Sumter; three daughters, Tracy Billie of the home, and Sandra Dee Billie and Denise Billie, both of Sumter; a brother, Johnny Lee (Lou) McFadden of Kingstree; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; eight brothers-in-law; four sisters-in-law; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Emma Jane McFadden White.
Funeral services for Louise McFadden Billie will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 2015, at the John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel at Williams Funeral Home Inc., 821 N. Main St. in Sumter, with Pastor Esaw Billie officiating, assisted by Minister Oneal Billie.
The family will receive family and friends at the home, 817 Miller Road in Sumter.
The procession will leave at noon Thursday, June 4, 2015, from the home.
Services for Louise McFadden Billie are directed by the management and staff of Williams Funeral Home Inc., 821 N. Main St. in Sumter.
