HopeHealth to host 24th annual AIDSWalk

Posted

HopeHealth is celebrating 30 years of serving others, giving hope, and changing lives, which makes this year’s annual AIDSWalk, which will be held Saturday, Dec. 4, a special affair.

This year’s event will take place on the grounds of the HopeHealth Medical Plaza at 360 North Irby Street, Florence. Registration begins at 9 a.m. with the program kicking off at 10. The first 175 people to arrive and register onsite will receive a free AIDSWalk T-shirt. Drawings for  door prizes will also take place for attendees throughout the event, and everyone will be given a to-go box lunch.

AIDSWalk serves to bring awareness about the importance of prevention, treatment, and breaking the stigma associated with HIV/AIDS. In addition to T-shirts and door prizes, HopeHealth staff will provide free health screenings and information on programs and services available at HopeHealth.
