The Clarendon County Historical Society’s annual Spring Tour will be May 15. This year, the society will be visiting several locations in Hartsville, including Coker College, Kalmia Gardens, First Baptist Church chapel, the Hartsville Museum and much more. They will gather at 7:30 a.m. May 15 in the parking lot of First Baptist Church in Manning, and will leave by 8 a.m. Some walking will be required, so wear comfortable shoes. No high heels, please. Historical Society trips are popular and fill-up quickly, so please respond early. Reservations will be taken in the order in which they are received, with no exceptions. On the way home, the tour will make a special visit to both the Cotton and Veterans museums in Bishopville. There will be a picnic lunch for participants.
