Georgia animal rescue looking for help transporting cat to Maine

An animal rescue in Georgia is looking for help Saturday to transport a ginger cat on its way to Maine. Imagine Home of Georgia is looking to transport Piper, a male ginger cat, to Houlton, Maine, and is asking a animal-loving resident in Clarendon County to help on the leg from Manning to Florence on Interstate 95. The all-volunteer feline transport group expects the cat to come through about 10 a.m. Saturday, and for the trip through the area to take about 45 minutes, until he will be handed off to the next volunteer on his way to Maine, where he will be taken in by Ark Animal Sanctuary.
