KINGSTREE – Ethan Kinard McClary, 7-year-old son of Corley and Lacey Kinard McClary, died Monday, Jan. 20, 2014, in St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
Born Jan. 30, 2006, in Orangeburg, he was a second-grade student at Williamsburg Academy.
Survivors besides his parents of Kingstree include a brother, James Bryce McClary of Kingstree; his grandparents, Brade and Kim McClary of Kingstree, Herb Kinard of Islandton and Pam Kinard of Orangeburg; his great-grandparents, O.E. Ott of Orangeburg, Lorene Sutcliffe of Norway, and A.C. and Sylvia Duke of Kingstree; and aunts and uncles, Megan McClary of Kingstree, Austin Kinard of Orangeburg, Kerrie Kinard of Walterboro and Yancy Duke of Kingstree.
Funeral services were held 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, in Williamsburg Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. David Ruth and Rev. Douglas Merchant officiating. The family received friends Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014, at the funeral home.
