Spearen M.F.A., PhD says, “This is a children’s book that will bring forth the words and notes of glee from a child that that says, ‘Read it again!’” Ms. Lashunda Hall a provided a parent’s review and stated, “‘The Little Bear’ was a great read! Simple reminder to trust GOD in all we do.”

Takelia shared her reason for writing children’s books.  Stating, “I have always had a passion for writing.  As a child I wrote poems and short stories as a hobby.  Poetry writing was a way for me to express my feelings.  Short stories were another favorite because I enjoyed creating my own characters and letting my imagination run wild.”

On this site, she encourages her adult audience.  When asked for her reason she expressed that, “Everyone needs a little encouragement from time to time…it is my hope that each reader can find just that after reading my content.”
