Charlton Rhett Coker Jr., husband of Janet Palicka Coker, 58, died Friday, May 26, 2017.
Funeral services were held Monday, May 29, 2017, at Turbeville Southern Methodist Church, with burial following in the church cemetery.
Visitation was held Sunday, May 28, 2017, at Floyd Funeral Home.
Born in Sumter County, he was a son of the late Charlton Rhett Coker Sr. and Shirley Dennis Coker. He was a retired paramedic with Clarendon County EMS. He was a member of Turbeville Southern Methodist Church.
Survivors besides his wife of the home include two daughters, Deanna Coker Baird (Lee Gibbons) and Amanda Coker (Brent) Sullivan, both of Turbeville; three sons, John Patrick (Lorre) Coker and Charlton Rhett Coker III, both of Turbeville, and Phillip Michael (Lindsey) Coker of New Zion; two sisters, Drena (John) Courson of Ridgeville and Denise (Chuck) Anderson of Manning; six grandchildren, Lillie Blakelyn Coker, Allie Keith Coker, Ander Sullivan and Aubree Sullivan, Rivers Baird, Annabelle Coker, and one granddaughter due in July, Ava Charlton Sullivan.
