Santee-Lynches plans job fair

SUMTER – The Santee-Lynches Regional Council of Governments, in coordination with SC Works and its business partners, will host a job fair from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 22 at the Sumter County Civic Center, 700 W. Liberty St. Doors will be open from 9-9:30 a.m. for veterans only. Many employers from the Santee-Lynches region are expected to participate, including but not limited to Continental Tire, Bicycle Corporation of America, Coca-Cola, Thompson Industrial, Eaton Corp., Oak-Mitsui and Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital. More than 60 employers are registered and expected to participate in the event. There is limited space available for additional employers to register. There is no cost to participate.
